Village of Providence Set to Open New Phase

The Village of Providence, in Huntsville, AL, is set to open their next phase(s) of residential development.  The Village of Providence is home to a variety of housing and businesses and has experienced rapid growth in the last couple years with the addition of a Hampton Inn (the Village’s 3rd hotel), Taco Mama, and Edgar’s Bakery.  The Village of Providence is also adding more apartments with the addition of The Moderne to go along with the already successful Providence Place apartment development located in the Village’s town center.

The next phase of residential development is expected to be more of the same in terms of architectural styles and lot sizes.  Phase VIII, the last phase to open for building,  included approximately 50 lots and featured townhomes, cottages and large estate homes.  Sizes ranged from 1,700 – 6,000 square feet although there are no minimum square footage requirements for homes.

Unique to the recent phases of Providence are the “bluff lots”.  These lots offer residents elevated views of Indian Creek and offer a unique vantage point not previously available.

The Village of Providence offers a custom home building experience and can choose from a large library of historically accurate home plans or design a plan from scratch.
